Thanks so much for your interest in a Jason Z. Schroeder Custom Guitar. I am very excited to start the building process for you! For ordering information and pricing please email me at jzsguitars@charter.net. Our base price for a custom guitar is $3,750. An initial non-refundable installment of 1/3 of the total price is due to reserve your place in line. The Build My business is about you and your music. My goal is to build your guitar to sound, feel, and look great. This is why it is so important that we communicate during the design and building process, to ensure that there are no surprises. As you may know, I like to take progress pictures, so expect to see a lot of your guitar being built. Expect to get a lot of questions from me about small details. Small details are what make the difference between a custom guitar and a production guitar. Expect to have a really cool and unique guitar delivered to your doorstep!! That is the end goal.
My Commitment Rest assured that my commitment to you does not end when your guitar arrives. I am not interested in the sales as much as I am interested in your receiving a tool to make music. I will do everything within reason to make sure that your guitar sounds and feels the way you want it to. Brass Tacks Just so you know, if I could do it for free I would! But I can’t. So the next step that will secure your order is to send your deposit equal to one-third (33%) the total cost of your guitar. Because the deposit covers the woods that you have selected in the combinations for your particular guitar, it is non-refundable. The remainder of the price (total price – deposit) is due upon completion. Assuming the guitar is complete at the time of final payment, your guitar will be shipped the following business day. Please note that if your specs change, they will be subject to change order fees.
