Absolutely! The Suckerpunch (a similar raffle) was actually shipped to the winner in Ireland!

Hey guys.
I know we have been a little quiet lately, mostly due to our new baby and the hectic life that we have (somehow Jason still manages to spend countless hours in the shop, so he still has been making progress!). I apologize for not keeping you more up to date about this raffle. We have gotten an email or two asking about the status of the raffle and the amount of money raised up to this point.

The raffle is still on. Jason was hoping to raise $10,000 for this VERY worthy cause, and we haven't quite gotten there yet and money is still coming in, so we are still accepting donations.

As of today, you have helped us raise $4,550!!! This is a great amount, and we are so thankful that so many of you have stepped up, but we still hope to do more.

I am sure many of you saw that sxracer193 very generously offered 1 of his tickets to each of the next 10 people who purchased 2 tickets. He was hoping that it might be an incentive for people to send money. It worked. We have only 1 'incentive ticket' left. Would you like it??

Also, Julianne is doing well. She keeps us up to date with a blog that she started just as all of this was happening. Here is the latest:

----------------------
1 month post-op!!

Hard to believe I was getting discharged after surgery one month ago - almost to the hour. There are days it seems like yesterday, and there are days when the anticipation of surgery is a vague and scary memory, well not too vague, but a memory none the less.

I saw the Plastic Dr today and he began the expansion process. I felt nothing! Amazing?! Now that I'm home, I do feel heavy/tight under the skin and some extra jabbing pains to add to the ones I already have. But they come and go, so it's tolerable. I'll go back in 2 weeks. I may only need one more expansion, it's based on my tolerance level, and how the Dr thinks I look...literally.

So, things are progressing nicely, all things concidered. My life has changed so much in 3 months. You can't explain this whole whirlwind process to anyone, you just have to live it to belive it! But hopefully, this time next year all of this will be something I have lived through and come out as a symetrical , breast cancer survivor. I still feel so lucky that I have the summer off. It really helps not stressing about missing work, getting subs, etc. I'm blessed to have the time to heal and take care of me.

I go see the oncologist next Mon,11th. I will have been on Tamoxifen 4 weeks by then and he checks to see how I'm doing on it. So far, I don't have any side effects.

I'll write more after I see him. Hopefully, there won't be much to report!
Peace!
J

We have a winner...

Monica Hojda!

Julianne will be contacting the winner today and we will follow up on the delivery of the guitar. I am working on uploading hte video of Julianne drawing the winning ticket and also a short video of her describing what will be done with the money. That will take a bit longer to upload than photos.

As I may have explained, Julianne and her husband Tim were traveling through Reno en route to South Lake Tahoe. Julianne's plane landed at about 1pm so I met them at the airport and we went to an office building where Tim had some business the previous Friday. We sat and recorded the raffle drawing.

So here is a brief picture history of the day yesterday.

Here are some pics of the trip to Reno from Redding (through Susanville). I actually wrote a song about this highway if anyone is interested in some soundtrack music!
