Yes he offers maple neck.
If you want one simply add it the additional comments space and Elizabeth will quote you the price for a maple necked guitar.

Jason's pretty damn flexible & loves a challenge! If you call & ask him, his reply would probably be something like, "What kind of maple do you want?"

...truth be told I've been coming to Jason's board / website since he first put it up, I just barely post here.

I've been thinking of another custom build and while a Private Stock is a dream I just have an issue pumping out that much money without checking out the other options first. I'll probably drop Jay/Elizabeth a line in the near future to get a quote...but I need to finalize a few things first (like what inlays since birdies are a no-no).

Well things are well on their way now after talking things over with Jason...

...looking forward to starting another custom build, picking a billet for my top, getting progress shots, etc. Hoping for great things out of my upcoming Schroeder SC.

Sure thing Stu...here are the basic specs:

Semi-Hollow SC with an "S" sound-hole
22 Fret w/ 25.5" scale length
Rock Maple neck with BRW board / headstock overlay
Maple top with Mahogony back
Hum-Single-Hum p'up configuration with McCarty layout (3-way, 1 volume and push/pull tone to split the humbuckers), but with an added mini-switch to activate the middle p'up.
PRS Adjustable Stoptail
Schaller mini locking tuners
Top stained in a Charcoal burst, neck stained in charcoal (no burst) and the back painted in Pearl White...loved the look when I first saw the Modern Eagle that Al Di Meola plays:

Thanks guys...really looking forward to this guitar. I basically spec'd it out to be a companion guitar to another custom built Semi-Hollow BRW SC that I own.
