I just put my deposit down on my custom order. I can't wait!!!
The inspiration behind this guitar is a Baker B159 that I used to own. I miss that guitar...
All mahogany one piece arched top double cut with a 2" deep body *before* the arched top. My guess would be that the guitar will be 2 1/2" deep in the middle. Ebony fretboard with crown inlays, cream binding, Tonepros bridge, and Hum, P90, P90 setup with 5 way switching. Huge 59 neck. 25 1/2 scale. Black with cream pups...
All sing and no bling....the Schroeder take on the Black Beauty.
If he can get it done by Oct 16th I would be happy to play it in front of thousands of people, my band was hired to play at the Pittsburgh Steeler game. ROTFLMAO!!!!

Thanks guys...
I have come to the conclusion that maple topped guitars are just not my thing. I love the way they look, but IMHO the maple top adds a strident top end to the tone that just doesn't suit me. My #1 guitar right now is a one piece Korina Huber Dolphin II. It is a magnificent instrument, but its thinner body steers it away from that muscular lower mid range sound that an all mahogany guitar gives you. I sold that Baker because I weighed 290lbs at the time and the weight of the guitar killed my back when I played a gig. I have since lost 90lbs and my back problems are gone. It was a magical guitar that now resides with a friend who tells me that I'll have to pry it out of his cold dead hands!! LOL!! Its all good...he is a helluva player and I sleep better at night knowing that it is in good hands. The combination of the thicker mahogany body, long scale, and ebony board is an awesome combination. Couple that with the things that Jason brings to the table, things like a sexier body style, and a cleaner/smoother neck joint and this will be a monster guitar.
It has been wonderful working with Jason thus far.
Oh yeah...
Wait 'till we roll out my *next* order....lol...you guys are gonna *love* the next one. HAHAHAHAHAHA
