I have been searching for a format for the website that looks slick for gallery photos. Check out this temporary site for the new gallery with Bryan's Tahoe Blue as a model. Please let me know if you have any issues looking at the photos.

I like the white borders around the photos...only problem I could see is if people are viewing the site on a dial up connection...that style might annoy them but I'm not sure cause I haven't been on dial for years

Hey Tommy,
Ya, that is always the big debate with web design. How low do you make the lowest common denominator. The guy who designed my site is very progressive, he says that worrying about dial up users is like a TV producer worrying about how many viewers have black and white TVs!! Pretty funny. But there is always the picturetrail account for dial up folks. Thanks for you input.

well I would agree with what your designer says honestly...that is probably a good comparison. So in that case, make it as crazy as you want !!!! but yeah I like the way it is now for sure :D

How about some specs on the left side of the pic?

I like it Jason!! I also agree with Stu, specs or a caption for each photo on the left side would be a nice use of screen space.
Also, the shots of Bryan's guitar at the sundial bridge are definately my favorites...I would like to request a "glamour shot" of my JZS 7 string be taken there as well :)

Good idea guys. I am working on getting help in the web department. I love the bridge as a backdrop so I will likely be taking photos of all the new guitars there! Including the Tour Guitar which is SO close to done. Just working out a few kinks.

Jason,
You can look through fashion magazine to get some inspiration on web page design.
They are the trend.
Imagine the web page as a big grid, sub-divided the grid into 3 or 5 columns.
Play the columns in odd number, because easier to work the odd into unique deisgn.
You can have gallery, spec, owner feedback etc...
My little opinions,
Johnson
