While it saddens me to do so I need to put one of my guitars up for sale to help raise funds to acquire my Grandfather’s guitar before he sells it off to a perfectly good stranger. My Grandfather got me into guitars and even purchased my first one for me. To say owning his guitar would mean the world to me is an understatement, though I would much prefer his health to return to him. Anyways…up for grabs is Jason Schroeder RTS # 003 (Ready To Ship)…a.k.a. the “Tigerbust Chopper”:

The top for this guitar was selected by Jason for its tonal properties, but it’s still a looker! The tone of the guitar is very balanced and it has a powerful semi-vintage vibe to it as demonstrated by the 3 videos that Jason recorded with the guitar in its original configuration:

Prior to shipment I had Jason take the p'up covers off and install a PRS stoptail (which I purchased) before he shipped it. Final specs are would be:
Eastern maple top and headplates
Honduran mahogany back and neck
Ebony fretboard, knobs, backplates and truss rod cover
Stainless steel frets
Grover locking tuners
PRS Stoptail bridge
S-headstock inlay
Aluminum S jackplate
Master volume, master tone and 3-way
Graphite nut
Dunlop Straplocks
Nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Tigerburst
Bryan Gunsher BG Bucker pickups (http://www.norcalguitars.com/hb.html (http://www.norcalguitars.com/hb.html))
HSC included (http://www.accessbagsandcases.com/ac1eg1.htm)
Condition wise the guitar has only been a bed-room player in a smoke free environment. The frets need some polishing and there is some micro hazing, but other than that it’s really clean. I purchased the guitar for $2895 (http://schroederguitars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=991) and the Stoptail cost me another $125. While I need to raise some quick cash I also need to get as much as possible for it given the cost of my grandfather’s guitar. Having said that I would love to get $2800 Shipped 2 day air, but I’m open to reasonable offers to help get his sold. If you ever wanted to try one of Jason’s guitars out now is your chance with having to wait for another RTS to come along or get in line for one of his custom builds.
